The Easier Way
of Laycock
- Only requires one setting

Round coils without sharp corners may
save as much as one inch (25.4 mm) of magnetic wire per
turn. Multiply this by the number of turns and you will
see how Laycock saves you money. You may also save as
much as one hour's time!
Round coils will not short
out as diamond shaped coils can so it is not necessary
to tape the end turns. Just sleeve the leads and use
phase insulation when required!

New Large Three Phase Heads

With
Laycock products, you profit by our experience! These new
winding forms will add versatility to your Laycock Winding
Equipment.
Now,
with deeper and wider slots to accommodate more wire for
some of the new type motors. Slot depth is 11/16" (17.5
mm). These new sizes will wind motors up to 150 H.P. All
heads fit either 19" (48.3 cm) or 25" (63.5 cm) Laycock
holders with instant coil release.

New Small Three Phase Heads 6 Slot
|
These 6 slot winding forms were developed to
wind very small or very low speed three phase motors, as
well as loom motors with short spans, small shaded pole fan
motors and coils for bi-polar fields. The slot depth has
been increased to 5/16" (7.9 mm)
As with all our wind
heads, they mount on either our 19" (48.3 cm) or 25"
(63.5 cm) Laycock holders and quick release.

slot winding form was developed to wind very small or very
low speed three phase motors, as well as loom motors with

Combination Single and Three Phase Heads with
Holder

For the
person just starting in business, this combination provides
complete winding equipment for nearly all the random wound
motors that come to a shop for repair - both single and
three phase. Both sets mount on the same Laycock holder with
quick release and will save on your initial
investment. You will save time and money as it is not
necessary to change the holder - just change heads!
Combination consists of No. 1 through No.
11 single phase and No. 1 through No. 5 three phase heads
with either 19" (48.3 cm) or 25" (63.5 cm) holder and
instant coil release.
All Laycock Heads are coated with
polyurethane for smoother operation and less wear and
abrasion. All dimensions listed are approximate.
